Beavers’ doubleheader at UMD moved to Thursday in St. Paul

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University softball doubleheader Wednesday against the University of Minnesota Duluth in Duluth, Minn. has been moved to Thursday at the St. Paul Dome in St. Paul, Minn. At this point, the Beavers’ weekend games at the University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State University will be played Saturday and Sunday, as originally scheduled.

BSU has now had schedule changes to its first 14 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) games. The Beavers will hit the midway point of their conference schedule Saturday at Sioux Falls.

After a 6-11 nonconference start to the season, including a 4-5 spring training trip to Florida, Bemidji State has gone 1-11 in NSIC play after dropping 10 straight games. The Beavers, who have a 7-22 overall record, will play three road series this week and are next scheduled to play at home in Bemidji April 16 against St. Cloud State University.
