BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University softball has had its games for this weekend rescheduled. The Beavers’ doubleheaders Saturday at the University of Sioux Falls and Sunday at Southwest Minnesota State University have been moved to Sunday and Monday, respectively. All four games will be played at the Morningside Little League Complex in Sioux City, Iowa.
The games against Sioux Falls will begin at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and the games against SMSU will start at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
BSU’s next scheduled series is at home Tuesday against St. Cloud State University, but that twin bill is dependent on weather conditions in Bemidji. BSU also has home doubleheaders scheduled against Minnesota State Moorhead and Northern State University next weekend.
Bemidji State will enter the weekend looking to snap a 12-game losing streak that began on the second day of NSIC play. Over that span, the Beavers have played doubleheaders against six of the conference’s top seven teams in win percentage. The six opponents have a combined 141-41 record on the season, good for a .775 winning percentage.
The Beavers’ first 18 conference games have been rescheduled in some form.
