BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University softball team will finish the season without having played a game at its home field after it was announced Wednesday that the team’s final two doubleheaders of the season were moved to Crookston, Minn. BSU will play Upper Iowa University Saturday and Winona State University Sunday at the University of Minnesota Crookston. All four games will still count as home games for the Beavers.
The first game of each day will start at 2:30 p.m. and the second will begin at 4:30.
BSU will also play Thursday afternoon against the University of Mary in St. Cloud, Minn. in another rescheduled double dip before finishing its season on the weekend against the Peacocks and Warriors. The first game against the Marauders will begin at 11 a.m.
Bemidji State will go into Thursday with an 8-33 record with a 2-22 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) mark. All 30 conference games for BSU were rescheduled in some manner after the team went 6-11 in non-conference action to begin the season.
