Sites reversed for Bemidji State’s final four games

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Four games for the Bemidji State University softball team that were originally scheduled to be played in Bemidji and were rescheduled to take place in Crookston, Minn. have officially been moved again. The contests—BSU’s final two doubleheaders of the season—will now be played on the campuses of the Beavers’ opponents. The games will count as home tilts for BSU.

Saturday, the Beavers will make their third trip to Iowa in as many weeks when they trek to Fayette, Iowa to take on Upper Iowa University in a twin bill. Bemidji State will conclude its 2013 season Sunday with a doubleheader against first-place Winona State University in Winona, Minn. The first game of each day will start at 1 p.m. and the second will begin at 3 p.m.

Bemidji State will go into Saturday with an 8-35 record with a 2-24 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) mark. All 30 conference games for BSU were rescheduled in some manner after the team went 6-11 in non-conference action to begin the season.
