Supinski signs Montana pitcher to join BSU softball in 2018

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University head softball coach Rick Supinski announced the signing of Kaidron McClafferty (RHP, Butte, Mont.) for the 2018 season during the first day of the early signing period. McClafferty joins Elaina Christiansen as additions to the Bemidji State softball program during the early signing period.

All signees are contingent upon admission to BSU and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.

Kaidron McClafferty – 5-11 - RHP – Butte, Montana (Butte HS)
Butte HS:
McClafferty lettered in softball as well as basketball during her career at Butte High School… All-Conference selection in 2017, 2016 and 2015… Voted her team’s outstanding defensive player of the year during all four seasons at varsity… Selected to the Butte High School All Honors program.

Personal: Born on Feb. 15, 2000 and is the daughter of Jason and Kim McClafferty... Plans to major in exercise science while at Bemidji State… Enjoys reading, writing, hunting and fishing when not playing softball… Dad, Jason, played football for four years at Montana Tech.
