Gomez on Dolan: “Stella is a great left-handed pitcher with lots of spin that we were able to get out of the cities. She moves the ball well and has a great personality. You will hardly ever see her not smiling! We graduate Olivia Tucker this year who is also a pitcher and Stella will do great filling in that presence on the mound. She works hard and I know we will be able to use her to start a game, fill in or end the game. We have confidence in her already and we are excited for her to start next fall with us.”

* Madison McCann – 5-6 – Utility – R/R – St. Michael, Minn. (St. Michael-Albertville HS)

Gomez on McCann: “Maddy is a great utility player and I am happy she came to visit us this summer. The timing worked out great for both of us. She will be a versatile player for us playing anywhere on the field when needed. She also swings well, and I think she will do great at BSU and be able to show her skill set from the beginning.”

Gomez on Schwenn: “Lizzie is my first ever recruit as a head coach. I watched her play in Wisconsin this summer and I just knew there was something good there. She's a great player and even better person. Since Lexi Derrick is graduating next year we wanted to find another catcher and Lizzie fits this need perfectly. She has a great mindset already behind the plate and has a nice bat that I think will be able to help us from the start and in conference. We are excited to have her start with us next fall.”
