LOUISVILLE, Ky. – 11 members of the Bemidji State University softball team have been named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes for the 2018-19 academic year announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Jessica Burlingame, Megan Castor, Elaina Christiansen, Lexi Derrick, Sami Dullum, Samantha Edlund, Rochelle Koshalek, Kelsey McAllister, Makayla Pagel, Brooke Phillips and Olivia Tucker have all been named scholar athletes after achieving a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 2018-19 school year.
Throughout Division II, 1,306 student-athletes were honored with the award. A total of 8,161 student-athletes throughout the softball world were named to the list, a first in NFCA history.
