BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University softball team will face four Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opponents this weekend in non-conference action as the Beavers travel to Minot, N.D., to compete in the Air-Supported Dome Invitational Feb. 20-21.
Bemidji State begins the tournament Saturday, Feb. 20 and will face University of Mary at 1 p.m., followed by University of Minnesota, Crookston at 4 p.m. The Beavers will then face Northern State University and Minot State University Sunday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.

Bemidji State will look to build upon its opening day last Wednesday, Feb. 10. The Beavers split opening day with an 8-1 victory over Minnesota Crookston but fell to University of Jamestown the following game.
The Beavers were led by sophomore Emmaire Yeager who batted .571 over the two games and drove in three RBI off of one home run and four hits.
Bemidji State’s pitching staff also combined for an ERA of 2.69 led by starting pitcher Stephi Dullum who pitch five innings and allowed just one earned run, three hits and struck out a career high 10 batters in BSU’s victory over Minnesota Crookston. BSU freshman Stella Dolan also led the Beavers in the circle and pitched 4.1 innings allowing just two hits, no runs and earned eight strikeouts.
