HOUGHTON, Mich. – Bemidji State University volleyball player Jessica Yost (OH, So., Bemidji, Minn.) was named to the Keweenaw Classic All-Tournament team Monday. The tournament’s eight head coaches voted on the all-tournament team. The four teams with winning records had two selections each while the other four teams had one.
Yost started all four matches the Beavers played and contributed both offensively and defensively. Yost notched 64 kills (4.00 kills/set) in 175 attempts for a .240 attacking percentage and contributed three service aces offensively. Defensively, Yost contributed 27 digs (1.69 digs/set) and four blocks in the four matches.
BSU returns to action Sept. 12-13 when it competes in the NSIC Challenge hosted by Augustana College and University of Sioux Falls. The Beavers will open the two-day event with matches versus Missouri Western State University and Northwest Missouri State University Friday.
