DULUTH, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team fell to No. 3 University Minnesota Duluth Saturday, 3-0 (25-7, 25-17, 25-9). The Beavers fall to 5-5 (1-1 NSIC) while the bulldogs improve to 10-0 (2-0 NSIC).
The Beavers were led by senior Amanda Tronick who tallied seven kills in the match while Jessica Yost added six kills. Freshman Julie Touchett and sophomore Heather Fletcher each added three kills. Freshman Kelli Auer led the Beaver’s defense with 14 digs and Fletcher led the team with two blocks.
The Beavers will look to rebound against the University of Minnesota, Crookston on Tuesday. Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston will begin action at 7 p.m.
