BEMIDJI, Minn. – In its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference road trip of the season, the Bemidji State University volleyball team fell to (RV) Augustana University in three sets (25-9, 25-19, 26-24). The Beavers fall to 0-12 (0-4 NSIC) on the season while the Vikings improve to 7-5 (2-2 NSIC).
Sophomore Maddi Siedenburg paced the Beavers with a career-high 12 kills and hit .156 in the match while junior Meeghen Dahlager and freshman Lauren Sitter followed with five kills each. Bemidji State hit -0.030 in the match with 27 kills and 30 attack errors while Dahlager paced the Beavers attack by hitting .214.
Freshman Emily Wade led the Beavers’ attack with 25 assists while sophomores Lauren Justesen and Madison Weyker paced the Beavers with 10 digs each.
Bemidji State continues its road trip and travels to Wayne, Neb., to face No. 8 Wayne State College at 1 p.m., tomorrow afternoon.
