Beavers announce summer girls basketball camp
BEMIDJI, Minn.  -- The Bemidji State women’s basketball coaching staff has announced the program will host a summer high school girls basketball camp July 25-28 for grades 7-12.  

This camp is for both current and future varsity players and will focus on individual and team skill instruction, along with offensive and defensive team concepts, games, and contests. The camp also incorporates beach time and a cook-out. The BSU coaching staff and players are scheduled to instruct.

Cost for the camp is $125 for day campers and $195 for overnight campers. The registration fee also includes meals, a t-shirt, prizes and awards. Campers will register between 1-3 p.m. July 25, with camp officially opening at 4 p.m. Camp will begin at 8:30 a.m. daily and will end at 4 p.m. July 28.

July 25-28 at the BSU Gymnasium and on the lakeside campus of Bemidji State
Day Camper - $125 (includes lunch/dinner meals)
Overnight Camper - $195 (includes room/board, all meals)

The Beavers finished the 2009-10 season with a 12-15 overall and 6-14 NSIC record, finishing tied for 11th in the final conference standings. BSU’s record is a vast improvement from last season’s 3-24 overall and 1-19 NSIC mark. The Beavers will return the majority of their line-up next season, as the squad was made-up of just one senior, two juniors, five sophomores and six freshmen.
