The Golden Bears won the only other post-season matchup between the two teams, 102-80, on March 2, 2005.

The Beavers and Golden Bears will face-off at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. The winner between BSU and CSP will advance to play in the semifinals Saturday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m., while the championship game will be played Sunday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. No spectators will be allowed at the 2021 NSIC/Sanford Health Basketball Tournament.
