2008-09 (Freshman): Played in 24 games, starting six and averaging 15.5 minutes per gameâ€¦Was one of seven players with more than 100 points, posting 113 (4.7 ppg) pointsâ€¦Also added 68 rebounds (2.8 rpg) and 23 assistsâ€¦Led the team in scoring in three games with a career-high 18 against Northern State University Jan. 16, shooting 7-13 from the field and 4-7 from the 3-point lineâ€¦Had a team and career-high nine rebounds against Upper Iowa University (Nov. 29).
Spencer High School Career: A participant on the Spencer High School basketball team for four years, Phillips is a three-time Marawood All-Conference performer and a four-time letterwinner for the Rocketsâ€™...During her senior campaign she averaged 14.5 ppg, 7.5 rpg while dishing out 2.0 apg...she was also a captain for three seasons...Phillips also participated in volleyball, track and field, and softball at Spencer High, garnering all-conference honors three times in volleyball and softball while receiving one athletic letter in track and field...She is an honor student and has been a constant on the Spencer High School Honor Roll...she was also a two time Marawood Scholar Athlete, WDLB/WOSQ student athlete of the week, and represented Spencer at the Womenâ€™s Sports Advocates of Wisconsin banquet.
Curfman on Phillips: She is a very versatile player who can play inside and outside. She will really fill the role of a small forward who can face the basket or post up. She has got great range in her shot and is a good three point shooter. She is a gym rat who loves the game of basketball and I am very excited to add her to our roster.
Personal: Born on May 30, 1990 in Marshfield, Wis...she is the daughter of Troy and Lynn Phillips...she is a proposed business major at BSU.
