East Bethel High School: A 1,000-plus point scorer at St. Francis High School, Borstner was a four-time all-conference selection...She guided the Fighting Saints to the state tournament in her sophomore and senior seasons...She surpassed the 1,000 point plateau during her junior year, in which the team went 24-4, winning the North Suburban Conference Championship...The team also won the conference championship her senior season, posting a 25-5 mark...She racked-up 20.4 points per game her senior season, which finished 11th in the state of Minnesota...During her four-year career, the Fighting Saints totalled a 92-20 record...A captain in her final two seasons, she finished her career second on the SFHS points list (1,868) and seventh on the career rebounding chart (486)...She also holds the record for most free throws in one game (17-of-23), is second on the single-season scoring list (612) and ranks fourth in scoring average in a season (20.4 ppg)...Borstner succeeded off the court as well, appearing on the Dean’s List and the honor roll...The National Honor Society member was named academic all-conference and academic all-state.
