Anne Skriba enters her first season with the Bemidji State University women's basketball team as an assistant coach in 2014-15. She works primarily with the point guards, coordinate recruiting and scouting reports as well as head social media efforts for the team.

In college, Skriba played three years at Concordia University, St. Paul. She was a member of the 2009 team that won the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) championship and reached the Sweet 16.

Upon transfer to Augsburg College, she earned post-season honors as All-MIAC honorable mention and was named to the MIAC sportsmanship team during her senior season in 2013.

Before coming to Bemidji State, Skriba was an assistant coach at Hope Academy High School in Minneapolis, Minn., where she was primarily responsible for skill work with the players, game planning, scouting and fundraising. In her first season, the team finished third in the conference.

Prior to that she coached for two years with the Crossfire AAU program as an assistant coach and did primarily skill development with players, taking statistics and practice planning.

Since 2009, Skriba has worked heavily with the Point Guard College basketball camp as an instructor during the summer sessions. She also has experience in teaching sessions during the classroom portion of the camp that works extensively with some of the best basketball minds from around the country.

“I am extremely excited to be on the women's basketball staff here at Bemidji State," said Skriba. "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from Coach Curfman and Coach Baagason, especially as a young coach entering the college game."

"From playing at Concordia-St.Paul I have a good understanding of the league, the intensity of games and the caliber of players in the NSIC. This is a great league with so many great teams and I am excited to be able to help the Beavers prepare to battle every night. This team has the potential to compete at a very high level and I am looking forward to being a part of that.”

Skriba is a native of La Crosse, Wis. and currently resides in Bemidji, Minn.
