Alt, Dahl chosen Bemidji State Athletes of the Year
Bemidji State University soccer captain Megan Dahl and football captain Brandon Alt were announced as the 2021-22 Female and Male Athletes of the Year on Sunday evening at the annual Beaver Nation Celebration. The award winners were selected from a pool of nominated student-athletes from all 15 of BSU’s intercollegiate sport programs.

Five Beavers set personal records at NCAA DII Central Region Championship
Bemidji State University cross country saw all five of its runners set personal records Saturday morning at the 2021 NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship in Joplin, Mo. Freshman Mary Goodwin paced the Beavers on the 6,000-meter course as the team finished 29th at Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.

Bemidji State University cross country senior Ryne Prigge paced the team and was named the recipient of the inaugural senior of the year award at the 2021 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Cross Country Championships in Wayne, Neb., on Saturday morning. The Beavers finished 11th of 16 teams during the 6,000-meter race hosted by Wayne State College.
NSIC Cross Country Championships set for Bemidji State on Saturday, Oct. 23
The 2021 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Cross Country Championships will take place in Wayne, Neb., on Saturday, Oct. 23, hosted by Wayne State College. The Bemidji State University program will compete in the 6,000-meter race beginning at 10 a.m. from the Wayne Country Club.
Cross Country takes 4th at Waxlax Invite as five Beavers set personal records
For the second straight race, Bemidji State University cross country freshman Mary Goodwin has paced the team to lead to a fourth-place finish at the Bob Waxlax Invitational in Sauk Rapids, Minn. Goodwin took 12th with a personal record time in the 6,000-meter race at the meet hosted by St. Cloud State University.
Beavers to run second 6K at Bob Waxlax Invitational on Thursday
The Bemidji State University cross country program is set to run its second 6,000-meter race of the season on Thursday, Oct. 7 at the Bob Waxlax Invitational hosted by St. Cloud State University. The women’s race is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Wapicada Golf Course.
