Christa Pribula paces BSU at Ron Pynn Invite

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - At the University of North Dakota Ron Pynn Invitational this afternoon, the Bemidji State University Beavers were led by the 21st-place finish of freshman Christa Pribula (E. Grand Forks, Minn.) to take seventh with 219 points. Pribula finished with a pace of 20:24 in the 5K race.

Finishing behind Pribula was sophomore Dawn Holman (Big Falls, Minn.) in 47th (21:52) and senior Josie Muzquiz (Detroit Lakes, Minn.), who took 48th with a time of 21:57.

Manitoba’s Jennifer Ervick took the crown in a time of 18:20 and led the Bison to a tie with North Dakota for the team title.

Next action for the Beavers comes Sept. 28 when the team travels to the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn.
