Bemidji State prepares to run in North Central Regional

BEMIDJI , Minn. - The Bemidji State cross country team will travel to Fort Hays, Kan. to compete in the NCAA Division II North Central Regional on Saturday November 5th. Fort Hays State will be the host team and the meet is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

After a disappointing performance at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championships Bemidji State will look to redeem themselves this week in Fort Hays, Kan.

“Are girls want to redeem themselves after a disappointing performance and the NSIC championships” said coach Craig Hougen.

Bemidji State will be competing in the event with out its top two runners in senior Christa Pribula (East Grand Forks, Minn) and junior Nicole Friend (International Falls, Minn.) Pribula and Friend were both All-Conference runners this season for Bemidji State.

Last season the Bemidji State cross country team finished 24th in the North Central Regional. Christa Pribula lead the Beavers last season at the Regional meet finsihing in 133rd place.
