Bemidji State to compete in NSIC championships

BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Bemidji State cross country team will travel to St. Paul, Minn. this weekend to compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) championship meet, hosted by Concordia University.

Last season the Beavers came in fifth place out of six teams, finishing ahead of Winona State. Bemidji State senior Nicole Friend (International Falls, Minn.) will look to secure her third consecuative top ten finish, along with NSIC all-conference honors.

The 6K race will be held at the University of Minnesota Les Bolstad Golf Course on October 21 and is slated to start at 1:00 p.m.
