Buerkle leads Bemidji State with top 10 finish to open the season

Junior Kristen Maras (Jr., Anoka, Minn.) finished 15th, while helping to lead the Bemidji State University women’s cross country team to a third-place finish at the Viking Invitational in Valley City, N.D. Friday. Maras completed the 4,000 kilometer course in 17:17.80.

Professor Emaritus makes donation to women's track team

Professor Emeritus Mr. Alan Brew presented the Bemidji State women's track and field team with a monetary gift Tuesday, Aug. 31--his 72nd birthday. Beavers named USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

With a team grade point average of 3.52, the Bemidji State University women’s cross country squad was named a 2009 NCAA Division II USTFCCCA Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
