Beavers return to action for Bob Waxlax Invitational

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University cross country team will return to action Friday as they travel to Suak Rapids, Minn. to compete in the Bob Waxlax Invitational.

The 6,000-meter race, hosted by St. Cloud State University, will begin at 5 p.m. at the Wapicada Golf Course.

The Beavers finished 34th at the Roy Griak Invitational Sept. 24. Vanessa Rae Lopez led BSU, finishing 170th out of 392 runners with a time of 26:28.0.

The Bob Waxlax Invitational serves as the Beavers final tune up for the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship in Sioux Falls, S.D., Oct. 22.
