ABERDEEN, S.D. -- Freshman Ryne Prigge paced the Bemidji State University cross country team Saturday at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships with a career record time and a 39th-place finish. Prigge topped her previous 6,000-meter time with a mark of 23:23.2 to lead the Beavers.

Prigge topped her previous career mark of 24:09.0 set at the Bob Waxlax Invitational as the Beavers finished 14th overall as a team. Freshman Allyna Storms also set a personal record time of 24:07.4 while finishing 58th overall and second among the Beavers student-athletes. Sophomore Kristen Petron also set a personal record time of 24:42.4, which helped her finish 74th.

Bemidji State finished the day with an average time of 25:10.2, an improvement of 15 seconds over its average time from the 2017 NSIC Championships.
