Bemidji State totals 73 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award recipients

CLEVELAND – A total of 73 student-athletes from Bemidji State University were honored Thursday, August 27 as recipients of the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award.


NSIC cancels fall competition, suspends all sports through Dec. 31

Forty-one Bemidji State University student-athletes earned a spot on the 2019-20 Spring Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic Team, with 24 also meriting the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence recognition.

The Bemidji State University women’s golf team completed its first event of the 2010 fall season Monday taking 10th in Concordia University’s Wildwood Lodge Invitational at the 5,975-yard, par-72 Tartan Park Golf Course in Lake Elmo, Minn. Kathryn Stoffels (So., Maple Grove, Minn.) finished tied for 47th to lead the Beavers.

The Bemidji State University women’s golf team completed its first day of the 2010 fall season Sunday as the Beavers participated in Concordia University’s Wildwood Lodge Invitational at the 5,975-yard, par-72 Tartan Park Golf Course in Lake Elmo, Minn. The Beavers finished in 10th place after 18 holes of play, while Lindsey Morgan (So., Crookston, Minn.) carded a 21-over-par 93 to pace BSU.

NSIC Championship round two halted due to weather

Unfavorable weather conditions in the afternoon halted play during the second round of the 2009-10 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Women's Golf Championship, leaving four groups, which included BSU's participants, without round two final scores. The four groups will head out tomorrow morning to complete their rounds at 8:00 a.m. prior to beginning the final 18-holes of the championship.

The Bemidji State University women’s golf team posted a 375 Saturday and holds down seventh place after the first round of the 36-hole 2010 Maverick Invitational at The Jewel Golf Course in Lake City, Minn. The Beavers, who are 51 strokes off the lead shared by Minnesota State and Upper Iowa, head into Sunday’s final round led by junior Gretchen Trosen (88, +16).
