BEMIDJI, Minn. – After more than a month idle, the Bemidji State University women's golf team continues its 2014 spring season Friday with a trip to The Meadows Public Golf Course in Moorhead, Minn. for the Dragon Invitational.
Tee times for the three-team, 18-hole event will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Programs scheduled to participate in the event are: Bemidji State, Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead and Minot State University.
The Beavers enter the event after 37 days free from competition. Since defeating University of Minnesota Crookston in Arizona March 11, the BSU women’s have battled cold weather and snowy conditions for practice time.
Olivia Knutson (So., Hatton, N.D.) has led the Beavers in 2013-14 posting an 84.4 stroke average in nine competition rounds. In addition to its Dual in the Desert win March 11, BSU has participated in five other events, including a win in the BSU Invitational Sept. 27.
