BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Bemidji State University women’s golf team continues its 2015 fall season when it travels to Marshall, Minn. this weekend to compete in the 18th annual Mustang Invite September 26-27. The 36-hole invite begins with a shotgun start on Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by the final round on Sunday with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.

The 6,087-yard, par 72 Marshall Golf Club will host an expected 69 golfers from 11 teams, including Southwest Minnesota State, Bemidji State, Black Hills State, Minnesota State, Minnesota Crookston, MSU Moorhead, Minot State, St. Cloud State, Sioux Falls, Upper Iowa and Winona State.

Last year, Augustana won the tournament with a score of 627 (+51). Kenya Sethasompobe of Minnesota State had a score of 8-over-par 152 to capture the individual title.

September 12-13 at the Dragon Invite in Moorhead, the Beavers took home second place to open the 2015 campaign. The Beavers’ team total of 715 (371-344) put the Beavers in second place overall. Sophomore Katy Woelfel led all BSU competitors carding rounds of 86 (+15) and 87 (+16) to finish 33-over par (173) locked in a tie for fourth place individually.
