SMITHVILLE, Mo. – The Bemidji State University women’s golf team finished 10th at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Women’s Golf Championship Sunday afternoon after totaling a three-round score of 1041 (356-341-344, +177) at the Paradise Pointe-Outlaw Golf Course in Smithville, Mo.

The Beavers were led by freshman Lauren Stockmoe who carded 251 (83-85-83, +35) to tie for 27th individually and senior Katy Woelfel who finished one stroke behind (89-82-81=252, +36) to place 29th. BSU’s Erica Gartner followed after shooting 265 (88-86-91, +49) to place 41st while Joleen Werden (96-88-89=273, +57) and Hailey Hinners (101-96-93, 290) round out the Beavers scoring by tying for 44th and 52nd, respectively.
Augustana University captured its ninth straight NSIC Championship after firing 926 (321-299-306, +62) to finish 18 strokes in front of second place Minnesota State University, Mankato. Augustana’s Emily Israelson took home the individual title after shooting a 12-over par 228 (80-72-76).
