Stockmoe tabbed as Golfer to Watch as BSU Women’s Golf Team selected to finish sixth in NSIC Preseason Coaches’ Poll

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Bemidji State University women’s golf junior Lauren Stockmoe has been tabbed as the Beavers’ preseason Golfer to Watch in along with BSU voted to finish sixth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll.

The Beavers garnered 62 points in the poll to finish 20 points behind fifth place Minot State University while Augustana University was voted as the preseason champions after finishing just one point in front of Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Stockmoe finished second on the team with a scoring average of 85.1 in 19 rounds last season and led the Beavers with two top-10 finishes.

Stockmoe and the rest of the Beaver squad begins the fall season by hosting the Tracy Lane Memorial Tournament at the Bemidji Town and Country Club, September 9-10.
