BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Bemidji State University women’s golf senior Lauren Stockmoe capped-off her BSU career by earning All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Second Team honors announced by the NSIC Thursday morning.
The all-conference selection is the first of her career for the senior from Alexandria, Minn.
Stockmoe paced the Beavers with a scoring average of 81.8 over nine rounds this season besting her previous season-low average by 2.5 strokes. She led the team with four top-20 finishes and one top-10 finish during the season including a t-13 finish at the NSIC Women’s Golf Championship.
University of Sioux Falls’ Lexi Hanson was named the NSIC Women’s Golfer of the Year and her teammate Maggie Veenendall was named the NSIC Newcomer of the Year. Augustana University’s Coralee Jorgensen was named the NSIC Coach of the Year.
