SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Bemidji State University women’s golf team closed out the 2021 fall season by placed third of five teams at the Augustana Fall Invitational held at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Beavers shot a team score of 692 (349-343) and were led by sophomore Mollie Albrecht who placed 10th individually with a score of 162 (81-81). Following Albrecht was freshman Katie Leblanc who tied for 18th after carding 173 (85-88).
Junior Jocelyn Nyblom followed Leblanc after carding 175 (91-84) while freshman Vaida Behnke (92-90=182) and sophomore Maddy Sawyer rounded out the Beavers’ five scorers with 184 (93-91).
Augustana University won the team title after carding a team score of 605 (304-301), 31 strokes in front of second place University of Sioux Falls (322-314=636).
Sioux Falls’ Maggie Veenendall took home the individual title after carding 148 (77-71).
