BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University women’s hockey program announced its 2019-20 schedule in conjunction with the Western Collegiate Hockey Association’s release of its 2019-20 league schedule. The 2019-20 season will be the 22nd women’s hockey season at Bemidji State and will begin with a home exhibition against University of Regina, September 27.

Following the exhibition game, Bemidji State will play 34 regular season games from October to February including five non-conference series and 12 WCHA series.
The Beavers open the regular season with three consecutive home series beginning with Lindenwood University, Oct. 4-5. BSU then hosts Providence College Oct. 11-12 and begins league play the following weekend by hosting University of Minnesota Duluth, Oct. 18-19.
The Beavers will have their first road series Oct. 25-26 at University of Wisconsin before returning home to host the Ohio State University, Nov. 1-2. Bemidji State will have its first bye week of the season Nov. 8-9 before beginning a three-week road trip. The Beavers travel to University of Minnesota Nov. 15-16 followed by Minnesota State University, Mankato Nov. 22-23 and conclude the road trip Nov. 29-30 with a non-conference series at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.
Bemidji State will then play two series during December beginning with a home series versus St. Cloud State University, Dec. 6-7. BSU will then conclude the first half of the season Dec. 13-14 with a non-conference series at Union College (NY) in Schenectady, N.Y.
The Beavers ring in the new year by participating in the Minnesota Cup hosted by Minnesota Duluth at AMSOIL Arena, Jan. 3-4. BSU begins the second-year tournament by facing St. Cloud State in game one followed by either Minnesota Duluth or Minnesota State.
Following the Minnesota Cup, the Beavers return home to host Wisconsin Jan. 10-11 and will then return to Duluth, Minn., to face the Bulldogs, Jan. 17-18. The Beavers then host Minnesota State Jan. 24-25 and travel to Ohio State Jan. 31-Feb. 1 before hosting their final regular-season home series against Minnesota, Feb. 7-8. Bemidji State will conclude the 2019-20 regular season on the road at St. Cloud State, Feb. 14-15.
Bemidji State will have its second bye week Feb. 21-22 before beginning postseason play with the first round of the WCHA Playoffs, Feb. 28-Mar. 1. The WCHA Final Faceoff will be Mar. 7-8 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis followed by the NCAA quarterfinal round Mar. 14. The 2020 NCAA Frozen Four will be hosted by Boston University at Agganis Arena in Boston, Mar. 20-22.
