Was one of seven players to play in all 37 games for the Beavers… Served as one of BSU’s top penalty killers as a junior… A hard-working player that filled roles on all four forward lines as necessary… Had best season thus far with six points (2g, 4a)… Tallied empty net goal against Maine Oct. 15 for first score of the season… Recorded three points (1g, 2a) against Lindenwood (Nov. 10)… Assisted on a goal versus No. 1 Wisconsin Dec. 10… Also notched an assist in 4-2 win over Ohio State Jan. 14.

2010-11 (Sophomore)

Played in all but one of the 35 games for the Beavers...Tallied first collegiate goal on Jan. 29, 2011 against Minnesota Duluth while on the power play...Had a total of 25 shots on goal.

2009-10 (Freshman)
Had her rookie season cut short due to a knee injury, but still appeared in 24 games...Had 15 shots on goal.

Prior to BSU
Played at Grand Rapids/Greenway High School...Was the second player in as many years to join Bemidji State from Grand Rapids/Greenway, following in Emily Erickson’s footsteps...Was part of a high school team that was the section 7AA champions twice (2007 and 2008) and was the class AA state runner-up in 2008...Was a team captain in 2009...Named to the 2008 state All-Tournament team and earned the team’s 2009 Hobey Baker Award...Was a member of the National Honor Society, was on the honor roll, and earned Academic of Excellence honors...Also played volleyball, basketball, and fastpitch softball during her high school career...High school coach was Chris Granley.

Daughter of Rick and Michele Arola and was born Jan. 1, 1991...Cousin of former BSU men’s hockey player Chris Pelus...Double majoring in physical education and health eduction and minoring in psychology.
