Invited the 2012 USA Women’s Hockey Festival in August...Was one of seven players to play in all 37 games for the Beavers…Versatile two-way defenseman who was a threat offensively and defensively…Was fifth on the team in scoring with 24 points (8g, 16a), the fifth-best in a season for a Beaver player… Played on BSU’s top power-play unit that tallied a school record 36 power-play goals…Also was one of the Beavers’ top penalty killers…Named WCHA Defensive Player of the Week after recording six assists in two games against Ohio State (Oct. 7-8)… Again selected WCHA Defensive Player of the Week after tallying a goal and three assists against North Dakota which included a win over the No. 6 team in the nation at the time… Also continued to be one of Bemidji State’s top shot blockers with 115 recorded blocked shots as a junior.

2010-11 (Sophomore)

Played in all 35 games for the Beavers at the blueline...her first collegiate goal came in Game 2 of the WCHA First Round Playoffs against then-No. 8 North Dakota and it would prove to be the game-winner...Had seven assists on the season...Tallied two helpers against St. Cloud State on Oct. 30...Had a total of 65 shots on goal, besting her rookie season mark of 38...Her efforts on the blueline helped the Beavers break the record they set last season for fewest goals conceded in a season with 88.

2009-10 (Freshman)
Appeared in all 38 games and led all freshman in scoring with 14 points and all defensemen in assists with 14...Her 14 assists ranks second all-time at BSU for most assists by a defenseman in a single season...Was a crucial part to a defensive unit that gave up the fewest goals in school history (98)..Saw extensive time on the power-play unit...Named WCHA Rookie of the Week on Jan. 13...Named Beaver Pride Female Newcomer of the Year.

Prior to BSU
Played for Crookston High School and was a member of the all-conference squad her freshman and sophomore years...Team took third place in state her sophomore year...Was named to the all-tournament team and earned the most valuable defenseman award in the same year...Was named to the Coaches Association All-State Team her sophomore and junior years, and was named a captain her junior and senior years and hardest worker junior year...Was a three-year participant in the National Camp in New York and has earned letters in hockey, soccer, softball, and track during her high school career...Was on the all-conference team while playing soccer and was a captain and MVP her senior year...Was also a part of the soccer team that broke the school record for wins in a single season...High school coach was Tim Persson.

Daughter of Scott and Gerri Wheelhouse and was born May. 9, 1991...Sister is former BSU teammate Marlee Wheelhouse...Majoring in psychology and minoring in chemical dependency.
