Posted 44 shots on goal, was -8 on the ice, and totaled eight penalty minutes.

Played in all 36 games for the Beavers in her second season with the team, recording three points on one goal and two assists... Totaled 32 shots on goal and 41 blocks... Scored her first career goal with the Beavers against Minnesota State (Oct. 26)... Set career-highs in shots on goal against Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State (Feb. 15).
2017-18 (Fr)
Appeared in 20 games for the Beavers... Registered five assists and 23 shots on goal to go along with 11 blocks... Tallied her first career point with an assist vs RIT (Dec. 9) and also totaled a season-best three shots on goal that game... Had a three-game points streak (0g-3a) from Dec. 16 to Jan. 3... Finished third on the team in plus/minus with a +6 rating.
Prior to BSU
Kara Werth, a recent graduate of Moorhead High School, was a three-sport athlete as a prep. In addition to hockey, she participated in soccer and track and field for the Spuds. Werth was her team’s top-scoring defenseman. In 26 games as a senior, she recorded 24 points (13g-11a) en route to an All-Greater Minnesota Conference selection. In addition, she also participated in the Senior Classic for Section 8A-AA and in the NIT Tournament.
Daughter of Aaron and Darlene Werth born Apr. 7, 1999…A chemistry major and minoring in biology and coaching.
