BSU soccer travels south for a pair of NSIC match ups

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- The Bemidji State University soccer team is back on the road this weekend traveling to Southern Minnesota to face No. 1 Minnesota State University, Mankato Friday at 3 p.m. and Concordia University, St. Paul Sunday at 1 p.m. in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action. The 3-3 Beavers look to build upon their 2-1 start in league play as they wrap up an eight-game road swing to open the season.

Bemidji State is 1-7-1 all-time against Minnesota State with an overall record of 1-4 in Mankato, Minn. The last time the Beavers beat the Mavericks on their home pitch was a 1-0 victory Oct. 31, 2010. As for Concordia-St. Paul, Bemidji’s all-time record versus the Golden Bears is 9-5-2 with a record of 4-4-1 in St. Paul, Minn.
