BSU wraps regular season with St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University soccer team wraps up road stretch in St. Cloud, Minn. before returning home to host its last game of the regular season. The Beavers begin the final weekend of regular season, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play in St. Cloud, Minn., where they will face St. Cloud State University, Friday at 7 p.m. The team will then return home to host University of Minnesota Duluth, Sunday at 1 p.m. for their last game before playoffs begin.

Last weekend the Beavers went 1-0-1. They began the series tying Winona State University. The game went into double overtime and ended with both teams scoreless, 0-0. Sunday, the Beavers were pulled off a 1-0 win over Upper Iowa University, with Miranda Famestad scoring the game-winning goal in the 87th minute.

Bemidji State hopes to add a couple more wins to its 10-5-1 overall record and 7-5-1 in conference play to help solidify its spot in playoffs. The Beavers are currently fifth in the NSIC.
