Bemidji State concludes home portion of 2007 campaign

BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Bemidji State University tennis team will finish its home schedule in what will be a hectic week for the team when they play host to the University of Minnesota, Crookston Golden Eagles on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center.

The Beavers will then travel to Waterloo, Iowa to take on the Upper Iowa Peackocks at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday before concluding their road trip when they head to Winona State University to take on the Warriors on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. The match against the Peacocks was orignally scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in Fayette, Iowa but because of poor weather conditions was rescheduled to Waterloo.

Bemidji State will come into this week looking to improve its 1-10 (0-3; NSIC) record. The Beavers lone victory came against the Golden Eagles back on April 4th, defeating the Golden Eagles 8-1.

After this week of play the Beavers will have one match remaining on their regular season schedule. They will conclude their regular season when they travel to Grand Forks, N.D. to face the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux on April 16th.

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament is set for April 19th through the 21st in St. Cloud, Minn.
