Dr. Gabriel Warren enters his third season as an assistant with the BSU track & field program in 2019-20.

Prior to Joining Bemidji State University, Dr. Warren served as the Academic Program Director for the undergraduate general business program and human resource management program at Columbia Southern University Online. In addition, Dr. Warren has taught for Davenport University Online and Brown Mackie College in a synchronous and asynchronous setting. Warren’s teaching experience spans across both the undergraduate and graduate levels in subjects such as Marketing Strategies, Principles of Marketing, Small Business Management, and Consumer Behavior.

In addition to his roles in higher education, Warren spent 12 years in Corporate America, in sales, sales management, and marketing roles, for various organizations ranging from retail, to banking, to financial services, and wireless communications. Dr. Warren completed his Doctor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing from Walden University, Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Ashford University and his B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration with a consumer/industrial marketing concentration from The University of Alabama. Dr. Warren is an active member of the American Marketing Association and Golden Key International Honour Society.

Dr. Warren graduated from Alabama in 2014 after a successful career with the track & field program. He earned All-Southeastern Conference Honor Roll, and became an SEC conference scorer and NCAA regional meet qualifier. Dr. Warren's best overall jump of 7-1.50 put him in an elite category in the high jump. Prior to receiving an athletic scholarship to attend Alabama, Dr. Warren was a two-time Alabama High School Athletic Association State Champion in the high jump at Central High School in Phenix City, Ala.
