MOORHEAD, Minn. -- (Olsen Forum) Kristi Buerkle (Jr., Stacy, Minn.) won the 400-meter dash and watched an Olsen Forum record fall by the wayside to lead the Bemidji State University men's and women's track teams as they competed in the Cobber Duals Saturday in Moorhead, Minn.

Buerkle, a 2009 All-America sprinter, placed first in the 400-meters with a season-best time of 57.25 before finishing second in the 200-meters, equaling the fastest time of her career of 25.63. In addition, she ran a leg of BSU's 4x200-meter relay that finished third.
