On the women’s side of the competition, Kristi Buerkle (Jr., Stacy, Minn.) led the way for BSU.  She took second in the 100-meter dash clocking a season-best time of 12:38--missing a 31-year-old school record by just .04.  Buerkle also placed third in the 200-meter race with a 26.19.

Freshman Taylor Sautbine (Tamarack, Minn.) continued to excel in the hurdle events.  She finished sixth in the 100-meter hurdles, posting a personal-best of 15.73 in the race.

Multi-event athlete Pearl Walker (Jr., Bemidji, Minn.) turned her focus to the 400-meter and garnered an eighth-place finish with a season-best time of 1:10.38.
