MANKATO, Minn. (Myers Fieldhouse) – Junior Nicole Crummy advances to compete in the 800-meter run finals Friday, Feb. 27.
Crummy placed sixth in the 800-meter run prelims with a time of 2:22.76, which ties her career best. The top eight competitors advanced to the finals.
Others Bemidji State participants will be competing in the shot put, 5,000-meter run, triple jump, and the 4x400-meter relay Friday. Field events begin at 10 a.m. and track event finals begin at noon.
Nestled in Northern Minnesota’s wooded region and located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, Bemidji State University sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
