Beavers conclude indoor season at NSIC Championships

MANKATO, Minn. (Myers Fieldhouse) – The Bemidji State Women’s Track & Field concluded their indoor season at the NSIC Indoor Championships Saturday in Mankato, Minn.

Bemidji State Senior thrower Ciara Brewster competed in the shot put, finishing in 10th place out of 26 competitors with a throw of 38 feet, 6.76 inches.  

Phillie Bacon competed in the 5,000-meter run, finishing with a personal-best time of 19:29.55.

The 4x400-meter relay squad of Sara Melom, Emeline Sevila, Nikki Anderson and Nicole Crummy had an indoor season-best time of 4:04.98.

The Bemidji State outdoor season is scheduled to begin April 2 as the Beavers head to St. Paul, Minn. to compete in the Hamline Invitational.
