GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND High Performance Center) -- Bemidji State University women’s track & field recorded five top-five finishes Saturday afternoon as it completed a two-meet weekend at the UND Tune-Up in Grand Forks, N.D. Sophomore sprinter Janice Cole brought home two third-place finishes in the 60-meter dash and the 200m, setting personal records in both.
Joining Cole with top five finishes included freshman Alaina Hall in the 60m dash and the long jump. Hall took second in both events with a time of 7.86 in the 60m dash and a jump of 16-feet-02.25-inches in the long jump. Cole finished third in the 60m dash with a time of 7.90 and in the 200m dash with a time of 25.75. Cole’s preliminary race time of 7.87 set a personal record.
Sophomore vaulter Anastasia Klein was the final Beaver to earn a top-five finish as she took second in the pole vault with a leap of 9-11.25.
After wrapping up the regular season, Bemidji State will take part in the NSIC Tournament Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27.
